DevelopmentCenter Aarslev is a regional network for the horticultural industry of Funen/ in Region South Denmark. The center consists of a Consortium with participants from research centres, educational centres and business companies.

 

The purpose of the network is to promote the Danish horticultural industry on a regional, national and international basis.

Researchers, producers, horticultural associations and advisers collaborate to promote the horticultural industry and technology as well as the overall economic life of the region.

 

DevelopmentCenter Aarslev was originally established as a two-year project, but the project has so far been extended until the end of 2005. The center functions as a network of research, development and advising. The assignments are co-ordinated and administered by a secretariat placed at The Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences in Aarslev.
